Buyer beware....double check with authorized verizon anything they tell you
BTW. Save your cut and paste response for someone that cares.
Snobby but pro at up selling you stuff you don't want. Also slow.
Do not let an elderly person go in the store alone. They recently sold a nearly homebound elderly person that has memory problems an IPad air.
Not all the sales people that work there are liars but so many of them are that I would truly call this store a den of thieves! Beware of getting ripped off by this unscrupulous band of con artists! My wife who sells real estate and is very meticulous at going over contracts and records was lied to by a sales person and told she "had to" trade in her phone which was untrue. Then the lying liar told my wife that she had a store credit of $200 which was actually the trade-in value of her phone that my wife didn't even want to trade in. My wife was confused the entire time about the details of the process but because she's very busy she completed the transaction and left. When I went in the next day to try to get an explanation, no one could explain what had transpired and the salespeople were even contradicting each other about how the programs work, not to mention that even with two people and a calculator they couldn't make the numbers add up on their own receipts! Finally, when I called Verizon corporate, I was told not to go to a Verizon "retailer" because this kind of thing happens all the time. However, the people at A Wireless told me that Verizon corporate doesn't know what they are talking about. What a carnival of incompetence. Stay away.
While visiting this person I saw the bag and asked them what it was. The iPad had never been opened and that led to me calling the Verizon number on their bill to try and help them get their money back. They told me no problem, take it to the store in Murray. At the store they said it was past the amount of time for a refund, that Verizon Corporate had misled me and the female manager guaranteed me that I could sell it for what the elderly person paid to get their money back. This was their second deceitful move. When I got home I looked it up on the internet and found out it was only worth $300 brand new at BestBuy. They had charged the elderly person $500 and added an extra phone for their monthly cell phone usage. Like I said, this person rarely leaves the house and has free Wi-Fi. Why would anyone sell this to them? Greed and deceitfulness I'm afraid. Shame on you Verizon of Murray!
Flat out lied to my face about prepaid vs. post paid options, using my own device and call priority. Typical authorized retailer.
