My husband & I have camped at Wildcat off & on for several years. We have also camped at other campgrounds. Since settling at Wildcat as yearly campers (5+ years ?) we have seen three different owners/managers and I must say Francis & Carolyn are the best. I have read the other reviews and I cannot imagine anyone rating them one star. Both Carolyn & Francis are overly accommodating, they treat you like family and go out of their way to help you. Do they have "off days" when stuff happens and they can't meet your needs when you think you need it...of course. They are human, like the rest of us.
I love this campground. Been coming here the past 2 years. We pull our boat and don't have a camper so we use the rental ones. Very nice and clean. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Never had any problems.
I would and have recommend Wildcat Campground to anyone looking for a safe, somewhat quiet, friendly place to camp.

We stayed here one year ago and loved it. The owners are amazing and stayed to helped us get setup. We returned for a week 5/17 and had a tire blowout on our fifth wheel camper. The owner took the tire in and had it replaced for us so we could enjoy our stay. This campground is almost like a bed and breakfast. If you need something, the owners are reachable. They are constantly maintaining the grounds keeping the place looking great!
One of the best camping experiences I've ever had. I drove from New Jersey and wanted to go to vist Kentucky and this was definitely a huge highlight in my trip. The campground is right on the lake everyone that was there was very respectable and the views were amazing. Great place to relax in a peaceful environment. Highly recommend the campground. And the staff we're professional and really friendly.
